Types of Donations

In addition to one-time monetary gifts, donations can be made to the university in several different forms.

• Recurring
  Monthly giving is convenient and provides a reliable and consistent source of support.
• Tribute
  Tribute gifts can also be given in honor or memory of a friend, colleague, or loved one.
• Payroll Deduction
  NU faculty and staff can conveniently designate an amount from each paycheck toward supporting National University.
• Securities
  Gifts of securities are gifts of appreciated stocks or bonds and could have tax benefits. Contact us to discuss an electronic transfer, other options, or for more information.
• Bequests and Planned Gifts
  Planned giving enables you to give gifts of assets during your lifetime or through a will or testamentary instrument. In this way, your gift can be given now or can create a legacy in the future. Planned gifts provide enhanced tax benefits, and some return income to the donor.
